About the Event

aGLIFF, Austin's LGBTQ+ Film Festival in partnership with Rocket Cinema and Meanwhile Brewing will present a special Pride Month screening of 1995 coming-of-age teen comedy and gay cult classic CLUELESS. Shallow, rich , and socially successful Cher (Alicia Silverstone) is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school's pecking scale. Her external demeanor at first seems superficial, but rather it hides her wit, charm, and intelligence which help her to deal with relationships, friends, family, school, and the all-important teenage social life.

Come early beginning at 7:00 p.m. to grab a bite and drinks from Meanwhile Brewery and on-site food trucks. Enjoy music by DJ Tony Castro and a Drag Performance by Austin-fave Nadine Hughes presented by Austin Pride. Plus, visit with beauty consultants from Gorg! Wellness and Aesthetics. The film will begin at sundown (approximately 9:00 p.m.). 

This is an outdoor screening and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to spread out on Meanwhile's comfy astro turf. Well-behaved pets and kids are welcome.

Paired with Ron Rice’s hazy erotic reverie, CHUMLUM.
