We have been working diligently to consider all available options for how to proceed safely to celebrate all genders, lifestyles, and identities in film amidst the current COVID reality. While we are not quite ready to make a formal announcement about the festival, we are excited to let you know that we will be producing a festival in August.

But WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Board of Directors appreciates the unbelievable support Austin has provided the festival for the past three decades. This is a testament to the appetite for movies that are inclusive of characters and experiences that reflect our diverse community. We will be navigating uncharted territory this year and it will no doubt challenge us in unique ways. That is why it is so important for us to come together in a way we have never asked of you before.

It takes a village to produce a festival. We are currently looking to fill committee positions so that we can continue to offer a top-notch festival experience for Austin’s LGBTQ+ and ally film lovers.

Hop onto the Festival Coordination & Execution Team, where the party never stops. You'll be the one bringing our community together.
Be the champion of change with our Queer Black Voices fund. Plan the most anticipated event at the festival, and help the next generation of Queer Black Filmmakers amplify their voices.
Love social media? The Amplify Austin Fundraising Committee is calling your name! Plan the biggest cash ask of the year and show off your savvy social media skills.
And finally, do you live for brunch? The SXSW Filmmaker Brunch Committee needs your help in putting together an event that SXSW filmmakers can't stop raving about!
