Please join aGLIFF and The Octopus Club* on Sunday March 7th as a table host for a special red carpet affair and live viewing of the 82nd Academy Awards®. This seated dinner level will include:
- A table for ten ($100 per seat / $1,000 per table)
- Three course dinner prepared by Driskill Award-Winning Chefs
- Entrance into the Oscar® Pool and chance to win $500
- Private viewing room
- Pre-show entertainment featuring Rebecca Havemeyer and Mocha Jean Herrup
- Access to the Mezzanine Level Party featuring live entertainment
- Opportunity to win special prize packages throughout the evening
- Option to create your own tablescape for a chance to win a special Sandra Lee Honor
In addition to helping out two great Austin nonprofits, table hosts will receive:
- Two (2) tickets to a monthly Brunch-Time Booya! screening (RSVP required)
- One (1) Frank gift certificate
- One (1) Jaime’s Spanish Village gift certificate
- One (1) Annies Cafe and Bar gift certificate
Are there discounts for aGLIFF members?
Yes! New 2010 aGLIFF 23 memberships of Director-Level ($150) and above come with 50% discounts and/or free tickets to the Oscar® event.
If you or one of your table guests have already purchased your 2010 Director level or above membership, and you would like to take advantage of your discount, please call aGLIFF so that we can prorate your table costs accordingly. Also, if you are not currently a member, but would like to purchase a new membership to help out aGLIFF and take advantage of a great membership perk, please call us and we will gladly help you out!
How do I pay?
If you would like to host a table, we ask that you host the entire table consisting of ten seats for a total cost of $1,000 ($100/seat). To secure your table, we will need a credit card number. You can either pay the amount in full now (online or via phone) or, we can reserve your table by charging only $200 (phone only). If you would like for your guests to pay separately, please ask them to name you as host when securing their seat online or via phone.
The total funds for your table are due NO LATER than Friday February 26th, 2010. On Saturday, February 27th, your credit card will be charged any outstanding balance that remains. If you need to cancel your table, we require that you call us no later than Friday February 19th, 2010.

*This is an AGLIFF event, however AGLIFF will donate a generous portion of the proceeds to The Paul Kirby Emergency Fund at AIDS Services of Austin. The Octopus Club is a fundraising arm of ASA, benefiting the Paul Kirby Fund.
