Bob asks: Who is KINO?
Great question, we should have thought to include that on this page in the first place!
KINO was created in 1997 by an unknown designer. The one and only aGLIFF Mascot over the years, KINO has grown into a loved figure.
Always dressed in an usher’s outfit and carrying his trusty flashlight, KINO is the ambassador of aGLIFF to the international community and continues to this day to be a more recognizable symbol of aGLIFF than the organization’s logo!
But times change, and it’s time to give KINO a little “facelift.” The “refreshed” KINO will be available on a line of t-shirts being sold this year to help support aGLIFF’s many enteratinment and educational programs.
