Skot Tulk - Executive Director
Skot has both a legal and advertising background. After 4 years of practice as a litigation attorney, he found he desired a more creative environment and left law to put his strategic planning skills to work for advertising agencies.
Prior to joining aGLIFF, Skot’s tenure included time with Cramer-Krasselt and Arnold Worldwide. There, he helped clients define their brands and marketing strategies. His prior clients include Amtrak, Choice Hotels, Bissell, and GE Healthcare.
Skot is particularly excited to apply his skills to aGLIFF. In addition to having once been an enthusiastic aGLIFF volunteer, he sees many great opportunities for the organization.
Skot graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas in Austin, and a J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law in Boston. He is also a member of the American Marketing Association, has won awards for his work from the American Medical Marketing Association and remains a member of The California Bar Association.
Jake H. Gonzales - Programs Director
Jake H. Gonzales graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where ze studied film, business, and public relations. Ze also has a long history in queer and progressive filmmaking, organizations, and campaigns.
Jake joined aGLIFF in May 2008 as the volunteer Assistant Program Director and was the recipient of aGLIFF’s Tim Jones Volunteer Award for 2008. Ze was hired in October 2008 as Programs Director and has since tackled many projects, including the expansion of aGLIFF’s entertainment and education programs.
Jake is also the founder and principal consultant at Jake H. Gonzales and Associates, which provides production, public relations, design, and systems development services to nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and independent artists. Hir skills in these areas have contributed a great deal to the organization.
