HOT TAKES QUEER DOCUMENTARY FILM SERIES
From Austin School of Film & Austin Cinemaker Space
Supporting partners: National Center for Transgender Equality and POV on PBS
Hot Takes emerged because the programmers know that being queer rules!
They also understand that, perhaps, it's been easy to forget that lately as legislation attacking the LGBTQIA+ community continues to move forward in Texas. In light of this they wanted to host a series that centered queer lives, trans experiences, and drag queens.
This series invites everyone to join in for some queer, wholesome fun; to rest and renew; to be with community and to play! Texas Queer Joy forever.
